Ballamar Manor is the 3 bedroom 2.5 bath side of a duplex called BALLAMAR MANOR when rented as an entire entity. Ballamar Estate is the other side - a 1 bedroom, 1 bath home that sleeps up to 4 additional guests and has an added kitchen. The two units can be rented separately or together.

The manor has a bedroom with queen bed and fold down bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with 3 twin beds and welcomes up to 9 guests.

The space
Welcome to Ballamar - where history and tradition meet the modern comforts and conveniences of home! The old world charm - from the shaded porches to woodwork around the doors and windows to the decor, welcomes you as you step inside this charming home, lovingly renovated and painstakingly furnished for your comfort by its owners who welcome you to share it when they can't be there themselves. The property has flexibility in that you can reserve the smaller (Estate) for a romantic or small family getaway, the larger (Manor) for a larger gathering - or the entire home (the Mansion) if you have a large group to accommodate. If the largest of the options is what you need - be sure to book early! Also please keep in mind that if you book one but not the other - you will likely be sharing the common outdoor areas with others - so please do be respectful, and be sure to lock that outdoor shower door behind you - tee hee! The "Mansion" - this listing - is for the combined 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath property in its entirety. To rent either of the units individually - listing information is at the bottom of this description.

Modern conveniences from comfortable bedding, full sized kitchen appliances, WiFi, cable TV, central air conditioning and heat, and spacious, modern tiled bathrooms and coastal inspired - but not over the top - decor will keep you coming back year after year.

The Ballamar Mansion consists of the Manor (3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths welcoming up to 7 guests) and the Estate (1 bedroom, 1 bath, welcoming up to 4 guests) which can be rented separately or jointly. It is a side by side duplex, with the larger of the two being a two-story home and the smaller a 1-story, first floor home.

The location couldn't be more convenient as you are truly walking distance to the Gulf of Mexico, shopping, eateries, the Pleasure Pier some of the Mardi Gras parade routes, and so much more. Short drives to the Strand historic areas and cruise terminals, antique shopping throughout the City, Historic Moody Mansion and Bishop's Palace along Broadway, Schlitterbahn waterpark, Moody Gardens Pyramids, the Bolivar Ferry - you will not run out of things to do while staying here - so plan your next trip to make up for anything you've missed this time!

As for dining - while you have access to fully equipped kitchens in each of the two properties (and a kitchenette in the upstairs master of the Mansion) - if you choose not to cook on vacation the island is famous for it's local seafood, but also home to many ethnic inspired restaurants and some of your favorite chains as well. You can dine in a different culture every meal of every day if you so choose.

On-street parking (you will have access to two parking permits in the Manor and one in the Estate) puts you right at your doorstep.

The comfortable front porch offers seating to watch the world go by as you sip your morning coffee, or your 5-O'Clock Somewhere favorite beverage.
